About Mandatory Roller Coaster
Mandatory Roller Coaster came about because I used to never finish my art projects. I had hundreds - literally, hundreds - of grandiose things planned that invariably got abandoned and it was bringing me down.
So I decided that every week I would draw a comic and post it online. No matter what. I chose Monday because Mondays are generally crap and I wanted to give people - in case some day any people actually decided to pay attention to my comics - something to look forward to on Monday mornings.
The actual name Mandatory Roller Coaster was made up not by me but by a very good friend of mine named Darlene who is a writer living in Long Beach. The story is far too long to tell here. Maybe I’ll draw a comic about it some day.
